Hello. My Name is Jana, and I’m addicted to soaps. Handmade soaps to be more accurate. I just love the scents, the colors, and the fact that they last so much longer than the soft bar soaps helps ease my budget based mind. So, imagine my delight that one of our own models makes soap! Of course I had to try it.

Soap is a need, but handmade soaps make it feel like a luxury. Some of them out there are hit or miss, but I’m on my sixth soap bar from Sinister Sister Goods and I’m in love! Great suds, these don’t get mushy in the shower, and the scents are amazing. These bath products make me feel like I’m treating myself whether I’m taking a quick shower or a long bath. 

Let’s face it, life is busy, and dirty, so getting a minute of feeling like you’re doing self care while just keeping clean is a huge bonus!!! Plus, I get to choose a scent for my mood, lol. (Currently Lemon Meringue)

Sinister Sister Goods isn’t just soap though. They have hand soaps, bath soaps, shower bombs, and even lotions. It’s a full line of products and all handmade! I tried out the Crème Brulee scented body butter, and… OMG. I’m sensitive to the weight of lotions on my skin, so for me this is more of a hand and foot cream as it is thick, but it’s luscious. One thing I noticed is that my normally thin and cracked looking nails were moisturized by this. I’ve only seen that happen with some specific top of the line creams. 

For those of you in love with handmade soaps, this is a brand to try for sure. Those of you who still buy the bar soaps at grocery stores, why not try this out? Handmade soaps are longer lasting, individualized, and have less waste than the manufactured stuff! Added bonus? I recently found out these soaps were created to help the owner’s daughter deal with eczema when nothing else seemed to help. Her baby girl’s skin flourished from it, and I know my dry skin loves it!!
