F#@K CRUSHES - Get ready for Women who inspire us Wednesday 🌟

Today our spotlight is on a multi-talented badass, Natasha Michelle! 🖤

Hi, my name is Natasha and I own & operate Lil Shop of Lilith which is a metaphysical and occult shop in Butler, PA that also offers intuitive energy healing, certified life coaching / Spiritual Counseling and tarot readings!

I am extremely passionate about working with people to take back, restore, find and their personal power, which is why you will so often see #ownyourpower associated with the shop. It was a true calling for me be able to offer a different type of mental health support for our community, but I also work with clients virtually, even overseas. Some of my clients use the services as a mentorship opportunity. I have been a practicing witch for about two decades and take my practice very seriously. LSOL has been able to offer many events, rituals, classes, and this year a new series of monthly Lecturers that has been very popular.

Outside of the shop my own practice is heavily focused on Hekatean Sorcery and Goetic ritual. I am the Priestess for the Coterie of Samil Arcane Occult Order and my personal studies and interests lie in sex magick and necromancy. The doors to the physical shop opened Dec 2021, but I launched in April of 2020. Since the doors opened, I’ve been able to watch a beautiful community of people come together. I love knowing that people look forward to coming together there and the support I have been met with still blows my mind. I’m 36 and live in Butler with my husband and our almost 16-year-old.

Aside from the shop, I run Creative Direction for Celestial Oddities Radio, a collective of podcasts on the occult, esoteric and paranormal. I’ve also been singing in local bands since my early 20s. My current band Animus is what people have started coining #witchmetal after some recent shows, which I still find funny – but it’s catchy so I’ll take it. Animus formed right at the end of 2019 and I love writing, singing and performing with these guys. There’s no pressure, we just go out to have a good time. Music gives me a place of expression outside of the role of wife, mother and now local witch.

I am honored to be suggested for Women Who Inspire Us Wednesday. If I looked back even 5 years, I couldn’t see myself where I am today, and as the woman I have become. I don’t recognize who I was a year ago, let ago five. This year was the 18th anniversary from a car accident that very nearly took my life (I’m an adult, again! Haha) – I spent 2 weeks in a coma and months in recovery with a shattered spine, broken neck and TBI. I shouldn’t be here. The last 18 years were a gift, one I fought for – with some help. Life is too short to be anything less than authentic, which can feel hard in our society. My final parting words would be who inspires you? How do you get there? And how do you already inspire yourself – because you should. I am by no means a feminist – but as a woman in a patriarchal society, we fall into lines that I believe we shouldn’t feel we have to walk. We are taught to fall into these lines and if we step out, we will be shunned. Let me tell you — step out of line. Be brave. Somewhere you have the strength to do it yourself, but I promise you if you turn the light on and start to flow – the right people will start appearing, and the ones who would dare to dim you are not the ones that will help you rise. Xo, Tash
