Heya! My name’s Erica Lynn of Storms Within and I am a singer/songwriter, bassist and co-owner/ co-founder of the production company, Eerie Siren Productions.

I have been involved with music since I was child.  Singing classically in vocal ensembles and performing all over the tri-state area.  I started playing in bands in 2007 taking a role as a bassist in a few before being asked to front Storms Within in 2014.  We started off slow in Erie, PA with shows in the area every now and then.  We have been through various band member changes and finally solidified a line up in June of 2022.  We hit the studio in March of 2022 and started recording all of our previously written music we felt was studio and album worthy.  I sought out a recording studio, Monochrome Studios, and we started to push forward in ‘post-covid’ age.  Storms Within’s debut album ‘Minds of the Wicked’ dropped January of 2023.   

During that same time period, I started contacting bands, venues and networking to try and get some shows after the shut down.  One by one, I started making contacts and before I knew it my co-owner/co-founder Tom Wurst and I had scheduled over twenty shows for the 2023 year.  It was in the midst of all of the networking we spoke about giving a name to what we had been doing for almost ten years, Eerie Siren Productions.  Putting a name to what we had been doing was liberating.  Our goal? Supporting, promoting and working with the local music scenes in and around the Erie, Pennsylvania Area.  I have made contacts all over Ohio. Huge shout out to the Cleveland, Akron area.  As well as, contacts all over Western Pennsylvania.  

For the last few months ESP has branched out and started scheduling shows minus Storms Within.  Which is a huge commitment for two members of a band that plays out regularly but it has been beyond worth every moment.  We are now working with bands from New York, New Jersey and most recently Massachusetts.  

Our newest and most exciting endeavor? What better opportunity than Women’s History Month and this platform to announce this? Eerie Siren Productions will be putting together the ‘Female Fronted Feature Fest’. 18 female fronted bands, two stages, one venue with female vendors, sponsors and promoters.  I am so excited to get the ball rolling on this project off the ground.  We are finalizing the date currently, which should be in October of 2023!

Life outside music? I am a wife, mother of three kids and work full time.  I am heavily involved in their activities and make sure that they are always a priority before my musician/ promotion endeavors but thankfully my family is beyond supportive of what I am passionate about.  I’ll end this with I am beyond honored to be considered for ‘Women who Inspire us’ feature and will end this with my favorite quote, ‘Live for what you love and love what you live for.’ -Eerie Siren Erica <3
